The Imperia Guard is the best of the best of the Imperial military. This elite force is under the direct control of the Central Committee, and they rarely deploy overseas, preferring to stay near the capital where their loyalty to the committee is appreciated by the Empire's leaders. The Imperial Guard’s barracks are located just outside of the capital city, and they are lavish when compared to the rest of the Imperial Army. The dining facilities serve the best food in the Empire’s massive military, and their training facilities are state of the art.

The Imperial Guard units are always over-strength. They maintain roughly 110% strength at all times, and they are the only units to operate Western vehicles and equipment, including M1A2 Abrams tanks.

The Imperial Guard is organized into three divisions:

1st Imperial Guard Armored Division
2nd Imperial Guard Armored Division
3rd Imperial Guard Airborne Division
